Training

This is a very broad and developing subject and this section of the web-platform will develop slowly over time as training providers and certificating bodies extend what is on offer. For now it will be set up to provide information on:

- Sustainable procurement training content
- A matrix linking training to various target audiences
- Providers of sustainable procurement training
- Facilitated training materials and workshops
- Materials/information/presentations suitable for use in-house.

Training that relates to the following topics will be prefixed by the respective letter(s) in ( ):

(S) - Working with suppliers
(CB)- Community benefits
 
(CB)Specification writing and Community benefits.

A free on line training course which is designed to raise awareness of community benefits and how through the specification writing stage of the procurement process you can engage prospective suppliers and encourage them to consider how they can deliver community benefits on your behalf.
